# Using the Blocklist to manage review request email

The Blocklist lets you exclude specific customers or products from review request emails, so you can keep your requests targeted and relevant.

## What is Blocklist?

Blocklist is a feature within the Auto Request system that allows you to automatically exclude certain email addresses and products from the review request emails. 

Key functions:
* **Blocked customers**: Block certain customers from receiving post-purchase review request emails.
* **Blocked products**: Exclude specific products from review request emails sent to customers. If a product is blocked, the review request email will not include that product, so your customer won't see or review it.

## How to use Blocklist?

To access the Blocklist feature, follow these steps:
1. From the Ali Reviews dashboard, click **Collect Reviews** in the left sidebar.
2. Click the **Blocklist** tab.
The Blocklist page has two pill sub-tabs: **Blocked customers** and **Blocked products**.

### Blocked customers

This function allows you to block certain customers from receiving post-purchase review request emails.

**Steps:**

1. From the Blocklist page, click the **Block customers** tab
2. Click **Add customers** button

3. In the modal, type a customer email and press **Enter** to add more.
4. Optionally, add a reason for blocking customers
5. Click **Add**

Use the search bar to find customers already on the blocklist. You can remove any customer at any time.

### Blocked products

This tab lets you exclude specific products from review request emails.
For example, if a customer bought three products and you only want reviews on two, this feature ensures that the emails only request reviews for the products you choose.

**Steps**:

1. From the Blocklist page, click the **Block products** tab
2. Click **Add products** button

3. Check the boxes to select one or more products to add to the blocklist
4. Click **Add**

You can use the search bar to find products already on the blocklist. You can remove any product at any time
