Translating reviews widgets into multiple languages

If your store is written by another language rather than English, or you are selling internationally and want to translate the widget content (including all widgets: review box, review pop, carousel slider, pop up detail, star rating) into multiple languages. This articles will provide more information about how to translate/ customize the text as your demand.


How to translate text in widget content into other languages


The Free plan lets you change the default language, but you need a higher plan to add more translation languages.


To translate the text in widget content into other languages, please follow those steps:


  1. Go to Translation > Select a language to translate.



  1. Publish the language. The app will automatically translate the widget content using Gemini AI.



  • You can click View translation to preview how the widget content is translated on your store.
Changing the default language in Ali Reviews Translation settings will automatically translate the widget text.


Ali Reviews doesn’t allow editing translated text in the widget. You can only edit the default language, and any changes will automatically update the translated versions.


Customize the text of the review widget in default language


To edit the text in review widget in default language , please follow the steps below:

  1. Please go to Show reviews --> Select a widget --> Customize.


  1. Open Style & Appearance -> Widget content -> Customize text. You will be able to find all texts of the widget here.


  1. Click the Save button after done customizing.


If you cannot save after customizing default content text, please check if any fields are left empty.


NOTE

  • In dropdown language, default language would be priority selected and listed on top.
  • When clicking Reset Default, all languages would be set to app's default content.
  • For Carousel slider, after clicking to Customize button, it will lead you to the Theme editor page, from there, you can open the Carousel app block --> customize the carousel title text there.
